Recent events surrounding the viral Skibidi Toilet and the sandbox game Garry's Mod saw a bizarre DMCA situation unfold, but it appears resolved. Garry Newman, the game's developer, has confirmed the matter is settled.

Newman, expressing disbelief on a Discord server ("Can you believe the cheek?"), found himself unexpectedly at the center of a viral Skibidi Toilet x Garry's Mod DMCA controversy. While the issue is reportedly resolved, the identity of the party who sent the notice remains undisclosed.
The notice targeted "unauthorized Skibidi Toilet Garry's Mod" content, alleging significant revenue generation from games using characters like Titan Cameraman, Titan Speakerman, and Titan TV Man, characters claimed to be under copyright protection. The target was Garry's Mod, Valve's 2006 sandbox game.
