New Pokémon in Pokémon Sleep: Sneasel and Weavile!
Pokémon fans rejoice! Sneasel and Weavile have joined the Pokémon Sleep roster, bringing new excitement to your sleep research. This guide explains how to befriend these icy, dark-type Pokémon.
Where to Find Sneasel and Weavile
As you might expect from their dual Ice/Dark typing in the main series games, Sneasel and Weavile appear in Pokémon Sleep's Snowdrop Tundra. However, they are classified as Dark-type in this game, lacking dual typing.
Conveniently, they also appear on Greengrass Isle, making them accessible to all players, regardless of research location. If you're on a different island and eager to catch them, use an EZ Travel Ticket to switch.
Sleep Types
Both Sneasel and Weavile possess the Dozing sleep type. To increase your chances of encountering them, ensure your sleep type matches. Sneasel, being the pre-evolution, should be easier to find during Sleep Research. Evolving it into Weavile requires 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw. However, you'll still need to find Weavile in the wild for Sleep Research data.
Are They Worth It?
Sneasel's value lies in its berry-gathering abilities (Wiki Berries) and its contribution to "Extra Tasty" dishes. Its ingredient requirements include sought-after items, making a well-equipped Sneasel a valuable addition to your Snowdrop Tundra team.
