Netflix has officially announced that Squid Game Season 3 will premiere on June 27, 2025. To build excitement, the streaming giant released a new poster and images, offering fans "a tantalizing glimpse into the fate of the surviving players."
Picking up from the gripping conclusion of Season 2, the third and final season delves into the critical choices faced by Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) amidst "overwhelming despair." As the enigmatic Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) orchestrates his next sinister move, the stakes escalate for the remaining players, whose decisions lead to increasingly perilous outcomes in the deadly games. Netflix promises that this season will "push the limits of suspense and drama, keeping viewers glued to the action."

"Gone is the rainbow-hued track of Season 2’s six-legged pentathlon; in its place, a vividly swirling flower-pattern floor ominously foreshadows the cutthroat finale to come," Netflix stated. The poster also teases the return of Young-hee and her companion Cheol-su, whose silhouettes suggest even more brutal games on the horizon.
