Star Wars Celebration brought exciting news for fans of the Star Wars: Visions series. Not only was it announced that Volume 3 will be released on October 29, 2025, but fans can also look forward to a new spin-off series that will expand on the story of The Ninth Jedi from Volume 1. This eagerly anticipated third volume will feature nine new short films crafted by renowned Japanese anime studios, including Studio Trigger (known for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), WIT Studio (behind Attack on Titan), David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q.

Three episodes in Volume 3 will continue narratives from previous seasons: Kamikaze Douga's The Duel, Kinema citrus Co.'s The Village Bride, and Production I.G.'s The Ninth Jedi. Speaking at Star Wars Celebration, Kenji Kamiyama, the writer and director behind The Ninth Jedi, shared that Kara's journey will continue in the new spin-off series, which will delve deeper into the larger Star Wars: Visions universe with longer, more detailed stories.
While specifics on the spin-off are scarce, it's confirmed that Kara will appear alongside Juro in the 'Child of Hope' episode of Volume 3.
