Totodile Returns for Pokémon Go Community Day Classic in March 2025

Pokémon GO’s March Community Day Classic is set to bring the beloved Water-type Totodile back into the spotlight, offering Trainers a prime opportunity to catch this Big Jaw Pokémon in large numbers. The event will take place on March 22nd, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, during which Totodile will appear more frequently in the wild. If you're lucky, you might even encounter a Shiny Totodile, adding a sparkling version of this fan-favorite to your Pokédex.

If you're aiming to evolve your Totodile into a powerful Feraligatr, now is the perfect time. By evolving Croconaw during the event or anytime before March 29th at 10:00 pm local time, you’ll obtain a Feraligatr that learns the powerful Charged Attack Hydro Cannon. With 80 power in Trainer Battles and 90 power in Gyms and Raids, this move makes Feraligatr a strong contender in competitive Water-type lineups.

Maximize Your Rewards with the Community Day Classic Special Research

To help you make the most of this event, the Community Day Classic Special Research is available for purchase at $2 (or local equivalent). Completing this Special Research unlocks a variety of exclusive rewards, including a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and multiple Totodile encounters—some of which come with a Seasonal Special Background for a festive touch.
