Get ready to race, as Umamusume: Pretty Derby gallops towards its English release on June 26, 2025. Announced by developer Cygames via Twitter (X) on April 27, the game will be available on Steam with pre-registrations opening on April 28.

Originally launched in Japan on February 24, 2021, for iOS, Android, and PC, Umamusume: Pretty Derby introduces players to a world where legendary racehorses are reborn as "horse girls" or "Umamusume." These characters, with the appearance of high school girls and the attributes of horses, attend Tokyo's Tracen Academy to train and compete as racers and idols.

According to the game's Steam page, players can "scout featured trainees and supporters as you navigate the immersive sports life simulation through the game’s in-depth training system and top-of-the-line 3D graphics!" The game features a gacha system, allowing players to scout and train over 20 Uma Musumes, and participate in races and performances.
