LEGO Fortnite Odyssey's Storm King: A Guide to Defeating the New Boss
The LEGO Fortnite experience has been supercharged with the Storm Chasers update, rebranding the game as LEGO Fortnite Odyssey and introducing a formidable new antagonist: the Storm King. This guide will walk you through locating and conquering this challenging boss.
Finding the Storm King
The Storm King won't appear until significant progress is made within the Storm Chasers update's questline. Initiate this questline by speaking with Kayden. He'll reveal the location of the Storm Chaser base camp on your map. From there, you must locate and interact with a storm, identified by purple glowing vortices scattered across the map, to advance the questline and eventually face the Storm King.
The final stages involve defeating Raven and activating the Tempest Gateway. After assisting the Storm Chasers, Raven's hideout will be marked on your map. This battle requires dodging dynamite and blocking melee attacks while using a crossbow. Activating the Tempest Gateway requires at least 10 Eye of the Storm items, obtainable from defeating Raven, upgrading the base camp, and exploring Storm Dungeons.
Conquering the Storm King
With the Tempest Gateway powered, the final showdown begins. The Storm King fight resembles a raid boss encounter. Target the glowing yellow points on his body to inflict damage. He'll become increasingly aggressive with each weak point destroyed. Exploit his temporary stuns after destroying weak points to unleash powerful melee attacks.
The Storm King employs a variety of attacks: a laser from his glowing mouth (dodge left or right), meteors, thrown rocks (anticipate trajectories), and a ground pound (back away). A direct hit from any of these attacks can be devastating.
Once all weak points are destroyed, the Storm King is vulnerable, marking the final phase. Maintain your offensive, remain aware of his attacks, and you will ultimately defeat the Storm King.
LEGO Fortnite Odyssey is available on multiple platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
