Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the details.

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza taking place in three global cities:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

This annual event offers exclusive in-game items, gameplay enhancements, and bonuses. In-person attendees will experience unique city-specific features, special merchandise, and community hubs. Rare Pokémon encounters, increased Shiny rates, and team lounges are all part of the Pokémon GO Fest experience. Think Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Marshadow from the 2024 event – expect similar high-value encounters in 2025!

Two More Pokémon GO Events in January 2025

Beyond Pokémon GO Fest, Niantic announced two more exciting events for January 2025:

Fashion Week: Taken Over

This event runs from January 15th, 12:00 pm to January 19th, 8:00 pm (local time). Highlights include:

• Rescuing Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni.
• The debut of Shroodle and Grafaiai, hatching from 12 km Eggs.
• Appearances of Shadow Snivy, Tepig, and other Shadow Pokémon.
• A chance to encounter a fashionably dressed Croagunk during snapshots.

Shadow Raid Day: Shadow Ho-Oh

On January 19th, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (local time), participate in Five-Star Shadow Raids to catch Shadow Ho-Oh. A $5 USD ticket grants eight extra Raid Passes, increased chances for Rare Candy XL, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raids. Shiny Ho-Oh will also have increased appearance rates, and lucky trainers can teach their captured Ho-Oh the signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
