Set during the brutal 1941 Eastern Front campaign, players undertake crucial wartime operations including securing trenches, rescuing wounded soldiers, and establishing communications. The game offers three specialized roles: sniper, medic, and tank operator, with each soldier featuring unique identities and backstories reminiscent of XCOM's personalization system.
Players can control both individual units and full squads, bringing tactical depth to every engagement. Peresvet's debut title delivers two distinct single-player experiences: the large-scale Frontline mode focusing on territory control, and Stealth mode for more covert operations.
Currently in development, Victory Banner can be wishlisted on Steam for those interested in this fresh take on WWII gameplay. The game's hybrid mechanics promise to deliver both strategic planning and immersive action sequences set against historically authentic battlefields.
