Warbands Camp Out in WoW Update

World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 introduces customizable character selection screens with collectible campsites! Four new campsites are available at launch, with more promised in future updates.

This new personalization feature expands on the Warbands system from The War Within. Players can now select different campsites, each with unique unlock conditions, to personalize their character selection screen.

New Campsites in WoW Patch 11.1:

The Ohn’ahran Overlook is automatically unlocked after logging in post-patch. The Cultists’ Quay is earned through the Season 2 Delver’s Journey. The Freywold Spring and Gallagio Grand Gallery are rewards for completing specific meta-achievements.

Players can preview and unlock these campsites via a new tab in the Collections pane. The character select screen now features a dedicated campsite tab for easy selection, or even random selection from favorites.

Blizzard plans to continue expanding this feature, adding more campsites alongside other collectibles in future content, events, and potentially the in-game store.
