Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has deployed its highly anticipated Siege Mode alongside Patch 8, introducing substantial gameplay enhancements across all platforms. This cooperative survival experience pits teams of three Space Marines against relentless Tyranid and Chaos Marine waves.
Following the game's breakout success last year, Saber Interactive has crafted its first major game mode – a strategic survival challenge set in an Imperial fortress on Kadaku. The development team implemented key changes from the Public Test Server version, notably extending wave timers based on community feedback.
Players can now enable Ray Traced Ambient Occlusion and DLSS 4 on PC, while the Bulwark class gains devastating Thunder Hammer capabilities. New White Scars and Blood Angels cosmetic packs offer fresh customization options, though Saber promises even larger armor customization improvements in future updates.
Patch 8 delivers significant balance changes: Terminus enemies now pose greater threats on Absolute difficulty with boosted health pools and additional spawn triggers. The update also revamps several prestige perks across all classes, including new defensive capabilities for Bulwarks and damage improvements for Assault Marines.
