Wild Rift will go cosmic in patch 6.1, which releases mid-April

LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars is gearing up for a stellar launch later this month, bringing with it a cosmic transformation that will redefine your gaming experience. As you embark on your journey through the Dual Nova galaxy, you'll encounter the Challenger's Star and Adventure's Star, each offering unique challenges and rewards.

Get ready to welcome three new champions to the battlefield, each poised to shake up the meta with their game-changing abilities. Ryze, the Rune Mage, unleashes devastating area of effect (AoE) damage and can strategically reposition his team with Realm Warp. Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, thrives in chaos, using Paranoia to shroud enemies in darkness and gain the upper hand. Lastly, Zilean, the Chronokeeper, masters the flow of time, slowing foes and even reviving allies with Chronoshift.

Several champions are also set for exciting reworks. Garen’s Courage will now scale over time, making him even more resilient, while his Judgment will now shred through enemy armor more effectively. Ambessa will transition from the jungle to the Baron lane, with adjustments to her damage and life steal capabilities. Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista will also see minor tweaks, enhancing their performance on the Rift.

Beyond champion updates, a new Bandle-inspired Rift will spice up non-Ranked modes, introducing Enchanted Gifts that appear through portals during the laning phase. Mages are in for a treat with updates to their items, including the new Bandle Fantasy item that adds extra burst damage, the Hextech GLP800 which slows enemies with frost bombs, and Malignance which amplifies ultimate abilities, making spellcasters even more formidable.

Ranked mode is also set for a significant update. As the new season kicks off with the Challenger's Star, expect changes to the Ranked store and easier access to seasonal rewards. Midway through the patch, the Adventure's Star will unlock, introducing AAAARAM—a thrilling twist on ARAM with new augments and dazzling galactic visuals.
