Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears with the Past' Launches Soon

HoYoverse has officially announced the release date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to launch on April 23rd. This update marks the conclusion of Season 1, promising an exciting wrap-up to its narrative arc.

What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

The update will finally unravel the mystery surrounding the Sacrifice crisis. Players, as Proxies, will delve deeper into Vivian’s intricate backstory and discover the true fate of Hugo, who recently fell into the Hollow. This incident has escalated tensions between Mockingbird and TOPS, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to address the crisis.

Alongside Vivian, Proxies will venture into hostile territory in pursuit of the Sacrifice Core. Vivian's journey will confront her with unresolved issues from her past, while the Exaltists' conspiracy begins to unravel. Here’s the Character Lineup

Version 1.7 introduces two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, gracefully maneuvers with a parasol and rapier, unleashing significant Corruption damage, particularly when combined with other characters' EX Special Attacks. The second character, Hugo, is an Ice Attack Agent wielding a suitcase that transforms into a scythe. His attacks on stunned enemies trigger the Totalize effect, amplifying damage based on the remaining stun duration.

Additionally, Robin, Mockingbird’s agile Bangboo partner, joins the fray with cards that have random effects. Returning characters include Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent, who will feature in Version 1.7’s banners.

The update also brings new events to Zenless Zone Zero. 'Say It With Flowers' allows players to manage a flower shop, fulfilling design requests and crafting floral arrangements for customers. Completing commissions in this event unlocks a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
