Pierandrei Patrizia: A Creative Journey
A teacher by training, Patrizia Pierandrei has dedicated her life to the arts of painting and poetry since childhood, actively participating in Italy's vibrant cultural scene. Since 1992, she's been a member of Jesi's "L'Emporio delle Parole" cultural group, contributing to numerous public exhibitions and events.
Her work has been featured in several anthologies, including "The Enchanted Window" (1996) and "Meeting di Poeti" (1997-1998). She launched her online presence in the Club degli Autori in 1998 and, in 2012, received the prestigious "Best Poetic Voices" award from the "Beniamino Joppolo" Theater-culture Association in Patti (Messina).
Her prolific career continued with publications in the "Contemporary Poets" series by Pages ed. (2012-2014), culminating in her poetic collection "Rose d'Amore" (Pages ed., 2014). She participated in the Twelfth National Meeting of "Authors and Friends of Marzia Carrocci" that same year. Her creative output also includes the short story "Christmas Butterflies" (Giovanelli ed., 2015), contributions to anthologies such as "Borghi, suburbs and cities" (Agemina ed., 2015) and "Writing Poems and Stories" (Historica ed., 2015), and the poetry collection "Viole di Passione" (Pages ed., 2015).
Further recognition followed with selections for Aletti ed.'s "Brise" collection and anthologies dedicated to Palazzeschi and Pasolini (Poetikanten ed., 2015). She actively collaborates with the Euterpe Cultural Association, contributing to their online magazine and publications. Her work also appears in Aletti ed.'s "Poetici Orizzonti" and "Il Paese della Poesia" series (2016), and various Limina Mentis ed. projects. She contributed to the anthologies "Ispirazioni," "Colori," and "Messaggi" (Pagine ed., 2017) and was selected for "100 thousand poets for change Rome 2017 - 2018," celebrating World Poetry Day.
In 2018, she was a finalist in the "Tra un fiore colto e l'altro donata" competition (Aletti ed.) and received a merit mention for World Poetry Day, also being selected for the "Alessandro Quasimodo reads contemporary Italian poets" competition. Her third poetry collection, "All'alba" (Pagine ed.), was published in 2019. She maintains a presence on Facebook and Gigarte.
