ALGS Begins Its Asia Tour with Japan

The Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Year 4 Championships are heading to Sapporo, Japan! This marks the first ALGS offline tournament ever held in Asia, a significant milestone for the competitive Apex Legends scene. The event will take place at the Daiwa House PREMIST DOME from January 29th to February 2nd, 2025, featuring 40 elite teams vying for the championship title.

Previously held in locations such as the US, UK, Sweden, and Germany, this tournament signifies a major expansion into the vibrant Asian esports market. EA cited the large and enthusiastic Japanese Apex Legends community as a key factor in choosing Sapporo. John Nelson, EA's senior director of esports, expressed excitement about celebrating this milestone in the iconic Daiwa House Premist Dome.
