Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Launches New Double XP Event for January 2025

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is treating players to a Quad Feed Double XP event from January 15th to January 21st (10 AM PT), boosting progress in account levels, weapon XP, Battle Pass progression, and GobbleGum acquisition. This coincides with the 115 Day celebration for the Zombies community.

Treyarch, in recognition of 115 Day – a significant date for Call of Duty Zombies fans referencing the fictional Element-115 – is highlighting fan art, cosplay, and other community creations. This precedes the launch of Season 2.

Season 2 will introduce a new Zombies map, "The Tomb," and several quality-of-life improvements. The Double XP event should assist players in maximizing their progress before the Season 2 launch.

Quad Feed Double XP Breakdown:

  • 2X GobbleGum earn rate
  • 2X Player XP
  • 2X Weapon XP
  • 2X Battle Pass XP

Beyond the Double XP and 115 Day celebration, Treyarch showcased community contributions and teased upcoming features including Zombies Directed Mode statistics. The reveal of "The Tomb" generated considerable excitement.

Despite positive developments, Black Ops 6 has faced challenges including hacking, bugs, and controversial events, leading to a significant player base decrease on some platforms since its October 2024 launch. Season 2 is anticipated to address these concerns and revitalize the game.
