Days Gone Remastered: Enhanced PS5 Experience with New Modes and Features
Bend Studio's post-apocalyptic adventure, Days Gone, is getting a remastered release for the PlayStation 5, boasting a range of new features and enhancements. Announced during Sony's February 2025 State of Play, the PS5 version includes upgrades such as VRR and PS5 Pro support, significantly improving the visual fidelity and performance.
Key additions include highly anticipated gameplay modes: a challenging permadeath mode, a speedrun mode for competitive players, and a revamped Horde Assault arcade mode featuring larger-than-life Freaker hordes. The update also introduces an enhanced photo mode and expanded accessibility options for a more inclusive gaming experience.
Launching April 25th, 2025, Days Gone Remastered offers a compelling upgrade path for PS4 owners, available for $10. The enhanced visuals and gameplay are optimized for the PS5's hardware, offering selectable Performance and Quality modes. PS5 Pro users will experience further visual enhancements, taking full advantage of the console's capabilities. DualSense controller features, including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, are fully integrated for a more immersive experience.
PC players aren't left out. Sony is releasing the "Broken Roads" DLC for $10, granting access to the new modes, enhanced photo mode, DualSense support (if using a compatible controller), and the improved accessibility features.
