New Story Trailer and Large-Scale Beta Weekend Announced

Funcom's survival MMO Dune: Awakening gears up for launch with a massive beta test weekend. The developers dropped exciting news on April 25th - including a story-packed trailer and details about their unrestricted beta testing phase.

Unlike previous closed betas, this weekend event lifts all NDAs, letting players freely share their adventures through streaming or social media. The beta grants access to approximately 20 hours of gameplay, covering most of Act 1's narrative. Funcom teases players will experience "both spice and story" during this preview period.

Prospective testers can secure beta access either through Steam wishlists or by snagging codes during the game's May 10th global showcase. Additional beta details will follow soon.
