The survival MMO Dune: Awakening launches May 20th, 2025 on PC (Steam), with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions to follow. But your journey begins now! Funcom has released the Character Creator and Benchmark Mode.

Craft Your Fremen (or Harkonnen):

The Character Creator offers extensive customization, letting you define your appearance, home planet, caste, and mentor/class. Your created character will carry over to the full game. Early creators receive an exclusive Frameblade knife skin, redeemable via code at launch.

Benchmark Your Rig:

The Benchmark Mode tests your PC's performance, optimizing graphics settings for optimal gameplay. It features a tour of a player base, Harko Village (the Harkonnen hub), and a sandworm encounter.

Dune: Awakening will cost $49.99 USD. Steam pre-orders will include the Terrarium of Muad’Dib in-game decoration.
