Fortnite Season Adds Star Wars Darth Jar Jar Battle Pass

Fortnite is launching an epic Star Wars crossover with its upcoming Galactic Battle season, set to begin on May 2. This intergalactic update will introduce a Star Wars-themed Battle Pass, a five-part storyline full of surprises, and the unexpected Battle Royale debut of Darth Jar Jar.

The exciting announcement came during Star Wars Celebration, where developers hinted at additional Star Wars content coming next month - including Force Lightning as a new gameplay ability.

Players can look forward to Battle Pass rewards featuring Emperor Palpatine and creative mashups like Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader. The Item Shop will stock Mace Windu skins, while X-Wing and TIE Fighter piloting becomes available alongside themed map locations and more Star Wars surprises.

The seasonal Star Wars narrative will unfold through weekly chapters, each with distinct themes:

Imperial Takeover – May 2, 2025
The Pull of the Force – May 8, 2025
Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
Star Destroyer Bombardment – May 29, 2025
Death Star Sabotage – June 7, 2025

The storyline will conclude with an immersive live event that promises to make players feel like true guardians of the galaxy's fate.
