The studio's post highlighted that Frostpunk 1886 will introduce a completely new Purpose Path, long-awaited mod support, and additional features, all while honoring the original game's legacy. 11 bit Studios is transitioning from their proprietary Liquid Engine, used for the first Frostpunk, to the more advanced Unreal Engine.
