Genshin Impact Leak Reveals Four Upcoming Character Releases

Genshin Impact's Version 5.3 introduced Mavuika, Citlali, and the 4-star Lan Yan. Leaks reveal four upcoming 5-star characters for Versions 5.4-5.7, starting with Mizuki in 5.4.

Recent leaks shed light on future Genshin Impact character releases. HoYoverse's frequent updates maintain engaging content through new storylines, characters, regions, and more. Version 5.3 featured Mavuika and Citlali on a double banner, with 4-star Lan Yan arriving later during the Lantern Rite Festival.

While the Version 5.3 Special Program showcased silhouettes of four unreleased characters, leaker DK2 identified them (from left to right) as releases for Versions 5.7, 5.4, 5.5, and 5.6, all 5-star characters.

Upcoming 5-Star Character Releases

The second character (Mizuki), a 5-star Anemo catalyst user from Inazuma, is highly likely to debut in Version 5.4, aligning with beta testing. The beta's lack of other 5-star characters strengthens this prediction.

Mizuki, a support character emphasizing Elemental Mastery, shows potential synergy with the new Pyro Archon, Mavuika. Assuming a first-banner appearance in 5.4, Mizuki's arrival is anticipated around mid-February. Her introduction might signal a return to the Inazuma storyline, a common pattern for HoYoverse, revisiting regions four to five updates after their initial release.
