No God of War Remasters Coming in March, Confirms Santa Monica Studio

Recent online speculation suggested a major God of War announcement, including potential remasters, at an upcoming 20th-anniversary celebration. To manage expectations, Santa Monica Studio directly addressed these rumors.

The rumors, even echoed by industry insider Jeff Grubb, generated considerable fan excitement. Santa Monica Studio clarified: "Pantheons collide! We’re thrilled to present a lineup of Greek and Norse characters for this panel celebrating the 20th anniversary of God of War where we’ll reflect on the past two decades of the series. Given the star-studded lineup and the anticipation surrounding this milestone, we want to make it clear that no announcements are planned for this event."

Instead of game announcements, the event will showcase new artwork featuring Kratos and Jörmungandr. Attendees can also look forward to appearances by series actors, including Terrence Carson (Kratos) and Carole Ruggier (Athena). The panel is set for March 22nd.
