How To Join the Baldur’s Gate 3 Stress Test & Try Crossplay

Crossplay is finally coming to Baldur's Gate 3! Patch 8, slated for release in 2025, will introduce this highly anticipated feature, uniting PC and console players. Before the official launch, Larian Studios is conducting a Patch 8 Stress Test in January 2025, giving select players early access.

When is Cross-Play Arriving?

While a precise release date for Patch 8 remains unannounced, the January 2025 Stress Test will offer a sneak peek at crossplay functionality. This test phase allows Larian to identify and resolve potential bugs before the full release, ensuring a smoother experience for everyone.

How to Participate in the Stress Test:

To join the Patch 8 Stress Test and experience crossplay early, register through Larian's Stress Test Registration form. A Larian account is required. The registration process is simple and involves providing basic player information, including your preferred gaming platform (PC, PlayStation, or Xbox).

Important Note: Registration doesn't guarantee selection. Successful applicants will receive an email with further instructions. Participants will provide feedback via feedback forms and Discord.
