Activists are targeting Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 following the discovery of in-game subpoenas, sparking a campaign to cancel the project. The controversy gained traction after reports surfaced online about the game's ban in Saudi Arabia, fueling speculation about its content and alleged "progressive" themes.
The developers have faced online attacks and calls for a boycott. Warhorse Studios' PR manager, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, responded to the controversy, urging the public to trust the developers and not believe everything read online.
Stolz-Zwilling confirmed that review codes will be distributed in the coming days, following the game's December gold master status. These codes are expected four weeks prior to release, allowing streamers and reviewers ample time for preparation. Interestingly, initial "final previews," based on review copies, are anticipated a week after code distribution.
