While we eagerly await the next major expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, exciting events and smaller card releases will keep us busy in the meantime. Here's how to obtain the coveted Lapras ex card.

Getting Lapras ex in Pokémon TCG Pocket

Currently, a Lapras ex drop event is live in Pokémon TCG Pocket. Participate in event battles against AI opponents using Lapras-themed Water decks to earn Promo Packs. These Promo Packs are your only source for Lapras ex.

Remember, this event concludes on November 18th, so act quickly!

Each Promo Pack contains a single card, randomly selected from the following: Mankey, Pikachu, Clefairy, Butterfree, and Lapras ex. While the odds appear even, obtaining Lapras ex relies on luck. You might get it on your first pack, or it might take twenty. For the best chance, focus on the Expert stage, as it guarantees a Promo Pack after each battle. Other stages offer a chance, but not a guarantee.

Completing all stages also rewards Event Hourglasses, allowing you to replenish your Event stamina and continue farming. If you already possess a Pikachu ex deck, you can even auto-battle the Expert stage, freeing you up for other tasks.

If you don't acquire Lapras ex before the event ends, don't despair! Trading is planned for a future update, offering another opportunity to obtain it.
