Get ready for the Gigantamax Kingler Max Battle Day event in Pokémon GO this February! This exciting event features six-star Max Battles against the colossal Kingler, along with a host of awesome bonuses. Here's everything you need to know to make the most of this February 2025 event.

Gigantamax Kingler Max Battle Day: Date & Time

Prepare for battle! Gigantamax Kingler makes its Pokémon GO debut on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time. Don't miss your chance to encounter this powerful Pokémon, and maybe even a Shiny one! Gigantamax Kingler will appear in six-star Max Battles.

Gigantamax Kingler Max Battle Day: Bonuses

This event is packed with bonuses to boost your progress!

Bonuses active during the event (2 PM – 5 PM local time):

• Increased Max Particle collection limit: 1,600
• All Power Spots host Gigantamax Battles
• More frequent Power Spot refreshes
• 8x Max Particles from Power Spots

Bonuses active from 12 AM – 5 PM local time:

• 2x Max Particles from exploring
• 1/4 adventuring distance to receive Max Particles

Note: To benefit from the last two bonuses, collect all Max Particles from the Nearby menu first. Remember to regularly check the Nearby menu for the Max Particles icon.

Gigantamax Kingler Max Battle Day: Exclusives & Tickets

For a limited time, you can access event-exclusive Timed Research for $5 (or equivalent). Available during the event (2 PM – 5 PM local time), this Timed Research offers:

• 1 Max Mushroom
• 25,000 XP

Additional bonuses from the Timed Research include:

• 2x XP from Max Battles
• Increased Max Particle collection limit: 5,600

Tickets can be purchased and gifted to Great Friends or higher. However, tickets are only available until 4 PM local time and are non-refundable.

Tips for the Gigantamax Kingler Max Battle Day Event

• Max Mushrooms: Use Max Mushrooms to temporarily double the damage your Dynamax/Gigantamax Pokémon deal. You can use multiple in a row, but this won't increase the damage multiplier beyond double.
• Team Up: Team up with other Trainers using Campfire to find Max Battles and collaborate for victory!
