Leaked gameplay footage of the canceled Transformers: Reactivate has re-emerged online. Originally announced in 2022 by Splash Damage in collaboration with Hasbro, the co-op game was to feature Generation 1 Autobots and Decepticons uniting against an alien threat, "the Legion."
Despite initial excitement, the project saw limited public exposure beyond leaks and merchandise. Following its cancellation, footage from a 2020 build surfaced, showcasing Bumblebee's combat and vehicle transformations in a ruined city. The gameplay bears resemblance to Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, but with a different antagonist.
The leaked footage, while showing some unfinished textures, appears polished and includes environmental destruction. A silent cutscene depicts Bumblebee emerging from a portal in a damaged New York City, contacting an ally named Devin. Numerous other leaks from 2020 predate the official announcement and subsequent cancellation. Though the game will not be released, the leaked footage offers a glimpse into its potential.
