Navigating the choices in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, particularly during the main and side quests, can be tricky. This guide focuses on the Post Scriptum quest and whether you should aid the miners.
Post Scriptum is a side quest initiated in Kuttenberg. Find the tavern west of the city, speak with Kvyertsolav, and the quest begins. You'll be tasked with writing a letter for the miners—but be prepared for unexpected turns.
Head to the Kuttenberg house to help Kvyertsolav compose the letter. Select the dialogue option, "Justice is worth more than silver." You can choose to refine the letter, leave it as is, or make it more aggressive; the outcome remains the same. After writing, the miners may try to attack. A successful Speech check will allow you to escape.
If you survive the miners' attack, you can choose to betray them and hand them over to the baliff. This ends the quest quickly, rewarding you with 100 groschen. However, this isn't the optimal choice. Delivering the letter to Markold offers better rewards and outcomes.
Speak to the bodyguard at Markold's house to gain access. You can blackmail Markold, give him the letter directly, or work with him against the miners. Blackmailing is difficult and ends the quest prematurely.
Helping Markold involves killing three miners, yielding a meager 60 groschen—the worst possible outcome. Instead, give Markold the letter as intended. He’ll give you seven groschen and direct you to meet miners north of the city.
Meet the miners, proceed to their camp, and speak with Myslibor. A confrontation with Markold ensues; assist the miners in defeating him. This completes the quest, rewarding you with 160 groschen and improving the miners' working conditions.
