　⚫︎　SHIFT UP, the developer of Stellar Blade, partnered with figurine maker JND Studios to open pre-orders on April 18 for hyper-realistic 1/3 scale statues of characters EVE and Tachy. The dual-character bundle, priced at $3,599, sold out in minutes. Limited stock of the individual EVE figure, priced at $2,199, remains available. The statues are scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2026.

April 9

　⚫︎　JND Studios will produce officially licensed, hyper-realistic figurines of Stellar Blade protagonist Eve and the game's eighth boss, Tachy. This collaboration with Shift-Up was first announced in July 2024, with JND confirming the specific characters on April 8, 2025. The collectibles are expected to be released later this year.

　⚫︎　During a recent State of Play broadcast, Shift Up announced that Stellar Blade will launch on PC in June 2025. The studio also confirmed that a Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLC will arrive the same month, featuring a new boss fight, collectible dolls and stickers, and an additional outfit.

　⚫︎　Shift Up Studio started the new year by awarding every employee a PlayStation 5 Pro console and a collective monetary bonus of ¥1,000,000 (approximately $32,000). This gesture follows the studio's successful 2023 debut of Stellar Blade—its first console title—on PlayStation 5, which earned positive reviews, robust sales, and multiple nominations at The Game Awards.

　⚫︎　The PlayStation Blog's Game of the Year 2024 Awards have been announced, with Stellar Blade's Eve winning a major category. Eve won the Best New Character award, leading a field that included Jane Harrow (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6), Emmrich Volkarin (Dragon Age: The Veilguard), and Ryoma Sakamoto (Rise of the Rōnin). Significant write-in mentions went to Strohl (Metaphor: ReFantazio), Wuk Lamat (Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail), and General Brasch (Helldivers 2), all of whom enjoyed strong fan support.

　⚫︎　On December 17, 2024, Stellar Blade will host a holiday event in Xion, decorating the city square and The Last Gulp gathering hall with festive lights, a colorful Christmas tree, and seasonal decorations.

The event introduces two new background music tracks, "Dawn (Winter)" and "Take Me Away," creating a soothing, romantic atmosphere to help players relax after battle. It also debuts a holiday-themed mini-game that offers a fun diversion and rewards for completion.

November 26

　⚫︎　Shift Up released a patch to resolve issues introduced with the Stellar Blade x Nier Automata update. The free update, which added Nier Automata-themed cosmetics and a new Photo Mode, was popular for its Easter eggs—particularly Eve’s 2B outfits—but also caused unexpected crashes and missing costumes.

The recent hotfix improves Photo Mode stability to prevent crashes when taking in-game screenshots. It also restores any missing Nier Automata outfits, ensuring players who collected all Stellar Tears or caught elusive Great Desert fish for the War Dress can enjoy the new content without interruption.

November 22

　⚫︎　Shift Up Studio’s technical director, Donki Lee, announced two major updates on November 11, 2024, following Stellar Blade’s strong performance.

The first update is a free patch (version 1.009.001) that adds four new outfits and one accessory—earnable by reaching a specific in-game ending—alongside improved lip-sync support and a new photo mode.

The second is the launch of Stellar Blade’s first paid DLC, a crossover with NieR: Automata. This collaboration, jointly developed by directors Kim Hyung Tae and Yoko Taro, is born from Automata’s influence on the project. Lee described it as "a collaboration marked by mutual respect and creativity."

　⚫︎　Despite strong fan expectations, Stellar Blade did not secure a nomination for Game of the Year at The Game Awards. The omission has sparked debate on social media, especially given the inclusion of Elden Ring's downloadable content among the nominees.

While Stellar Blade missed the top honor, it was nominated in two categories: Best Action Game and Best Score and Music, recognizing its gameplay and soundtrack.
