*Arise Crossover* might seem straightforward at first glance—you gather Shadow units and take on enemies who can't retaliate, all to amass stronger Shadows until you hit a wall. But as we reached the endgame, we encountered many skilled players struggling with progression, leveling, and choosing the right Shadows. If you're one of them, this guide is your roadmap to mastering *Arise Crossover*.
In Arise Crossover, each of the three islands offers multiple Shadows to recruit, along with one formidable dungeon Shadow. Based on types, Soondoo is the weakest unit, available right from the start, while Mifalcon stands as the strongest, found on Brum Island.
However, the real game-changer is the ranking system. A Rank A Soondoo outperforms a Rank D Mifalcon. Higher-ranked units can level up further; for instance, a Rank D unit tops out at Level 75, whereas an SS Unit can reach Level 200. Your ultimate goal? Building a squad of four SS-ranked Mifalcons, but the journey to that point is where the excitement lies.
Dungeon Portals in Arise Crossover appear every 30 minutes and remain open for 15 minutes. Even if you enter a dungeon just before it closes, you can still finish it entirely.
These portals can spawn in various locations across each island, with their difficulty rank being random.
Begin your journey with a team of Rank D units and tackle a Rank D or C dungeon on Leveling Island. This will help you assemble a solid group and possibly snag a rare Shadow. Dungeons are your sole source for recruiting Rare and higher-than-Rank C common units.
Whenever a portal spawns, head to it. If your team isn't strong enough, wait by the portal for a higher-level player to join. Many players can solo dungeons and are often willing to help less experienced players. This communal spirit is key to recruiting higher-ranked Shadows, which is essential for progressing in Arise Crossover.
We benefited from a kind player who guided us through a Rank A dungeon with only Rank C units, allowing us to recruit Rank A Shadows and push towards the endgame. Later, we returned the favor, helping players with Rank D units through a Rank S dungeon. We encourage you to do the same.
During this Beta phase, player weapons are largely ineffective. They might offer a slight edge at the game's start, but by the second island, their impact wanes significantly.
The Iron Kando Blade, the most potent common weapon currently available, costs 60 million and delivers 516,1K damage. Compare this to your units, which can deal 200-400 million damage. Unless you're eager to spend, hold onto your money until weapon mechanics are updated.
Wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes, and only one player per server can claim each one. A server-wide message notifies players of a new mount's appearance, but not when it's claimed or disappears.
Mounts can spawn in six different locations: on the back of the main islands or on smaller side islands between them. Check the developer's map for exact spots.
You can't claim the same mount twice, and attempts to capture one can fail. Flying mounts are the rarest, with a 10% spawn rate, ground mounts are common, and water mounts are purchasable from the Boat Shop NPC.
To secure a mount, watch for the server message and race to the six potential spawn points. While mounts aren't necessary for progression, a flying mount can certainly ease your travel. We're still on the hunt for our own flying mount.
That's the gist of it. We'll keep updating this Beginner's Guide as Arise Crossover evolves. In the meantime, don't forget to check out Arise Crossover codes for some free goodies.
