This card game blends memory and strategy, challenging players to minimize their hand's value. Gameplay unfolds in rounds, beginning with each player receiving four face-down cards.
Initially, players only view their two rightmost cards. Throughout the game, cards remain face down, demanding careful memory and deduction. The goal is to achieve the lowest possible hand value.
On a player's turn, three actions are available:
- Card Replacement: Replace the center card with one from your hand.
- Card Replication: Duplicate a card from your hand.
- Draw a Card: Draw a card from the deck, then either replace one of your cards with it or discard it.
Certain cards introduce special abilities:
- 7 & 8: Allow you to peek at one of your own cards.
- 9 & 10: Let you view one card from another player's hand.
- Eye Master: Allows viewing one card from each opponent, or two of your own cards.
- Swap: Enables exchanging a card with another player without revealing its value.
- Replica: Permits discarding any card from your hand.
The round concludes when a player calls "Skru," forfeiting their turn. The round continues until each other player has taken one more turn. Note: "Skru" cannot be called within the first three turns.
Following this, all cards are revealed. Players with the lowest hand total score zero points. In case of a tie for the lowest score, all tied players receive zero points.
A crucial element of risk-reward comes into play: If a player calls "Skru" but does not have the lowest score, their round score is doubled. This strategic element adds depth to the game, balancing calculated risk with the pursuit of the lowest score.
